No accounts, no cookies, no ads. Here is everything the site keeps.

On your device

These items sit in your browser's local storage:

• a random token that lets the game count one play per device;
• your play streak and beat-the-market streak;
• the number of the last daily you played and your picks in it, so a reload returns to your result;
• the number of the last daily you started, so a reload doesn't count a second start;
• whether Trader Talk is on, and whether the game has offered it.

The token goes to our server with each daily you submit, and your picks go with it, including when a reload fetches your result again. The rest stays on your device. Clear this site's data to remove them. If your browser blocks storage, the game still plays, and forgets all of this when you leave.

On our server

• Each counted daily play: the random token, the daily's number, your picks, your margin against the market, whether you beat it, whether every pick was its sector's best, and the time. This is what makes percentiles and "one play per device" work. Practice plays aren't stored.
• Daily counts: how many times events happened that day, such as games started and finished, practice rounds, Trader Talk switched on or off, and share taps. They are plain totals with no token attached.

The token isn't tied to a name, an email or anything else about you. We keep these rows while the game runs. We have no way to find yours unless you tell us your token, and clearing your device's data leaves the row with nothing linking it to you.

Cloudflare

The site and its API run on Cloudflare, which handles every request, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy. The API's rate limits use your IP address to slow abusive traffic; we don't store it in our database.

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page performance. It doesn't set cookies, and Cloudflare says it doesn't collect visitors' personal data.

What we don't do

• No ads and no ad code. If that changes, this page changes first and a consent banner comes with it.
• No cookies from us, no accounts, no selling or sharing of data.
• Fonts and the game's scripts come from this site. The one script that may come from elsewhere is Cloudflare's analytics beacon. The share button copies text to your clipboard; only a count of the tap reaches us.

Children

The site isn't directed to children.
